Sad Day for Toronto’s Jewish Community
UJA Federation of Greater Toronto joins the families of kidnapped soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser, the people of Israel and Toronto’s Jewish community in grieving their deaths. The remains of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser were returned to Israel on July 17. The soldiers were kidnapped by Hezbollah on July 12, 2006 in a raid on Israeli territory.
